About me

Growing up in the countryside, Nina’s love of the outdoors began at a young age, beach combing along the island shores of the Isle of Man and walking the Lakeland fells. After graduating from Nottingham Trent University, Nina worked for acclaimed photographers Rankin and Clive Nichols in London.

Returning to Cumbria in 2011, Nina set up her own photographic business working with clients such as IkeaWaitrose Food magazine and Booths supermarketas well as numerous local North West businesses. Alongside her commercial work, Nina produces photographic products, such as greeting cards, postcards, calendars and signed Giclee prints, in her unique, modern style. Nina’s products have an emphasis on combining beautiful, modern images with high quality materials, whilst supporting local manufacture.

Having started with an initial portfolio of just 12 greeting cards, today, Nina’s catalogue now features over 70 different card designs, as well as packs of cards, postcards, calendars and signed prints. She supplies trade customers and retail outlets, including Booths supermarket and the National Trust, as well as selling products directly from her website.

Each year, Nina produces a line of winter cards, which support the Lake District Search and Mountain Rescue Association. Since 2014 Nina has joined forces with Booths supermarket producing regional calendars of Lancashire and the Lake District whose sales have contributed to the LDSMRA, the North West Air Ambulance and the Bay Search and Rescue.

Based in the Lake District with her husband, Sam, and labradoodle, Moo, Nina continues to work commercially throughout the UK and expand her modern, British collections.
